About Suzanne
Where it all began
My journey with animals started early, but it was Stan, my Border Terrier, who truly opened my eyes to how extraordinary dogs are. Over 20 years ago, he sparked a passion that eventually grew into a profession — and Bark and Ride with Suzanne was born.
The values that guide me
Today, my furry family is made up of older rescue dogs with unique physical and emotional needs. Caring for them has taught me patience, empathy, and the importance of tailored support. These experiences shape the way I care for every pet I meet.
Alongside this hands‑on experience, I’m committed to ongoing CPD and training in animal care, behaviour, and pet first aid. Staying up to date with best practice helps me support pets with confidence, especially those who need a little extra understanding.
My approach to pet care
I bring compassion, professionalism, and thoughtful, individualised care to every client. My goal is always the same: to help pets feel safe, understood, and comfortable — and to give owners complete peace of mind. My training underpins this approach, ensuring the care I provide is not only kind, but informed and reliable.
What Bark and Ride stands for
At Bark and Ride with Suzanne, it’s never just about walking dogs or sitting pets. It’s about building trust, offering reassurance, and making a positive difference in the lives of animals and the people who love them. Every pet is treated with the same care and respect I give my own — supported by experience, ongoing learning, and a genuine love for what I do.
